If you only use one essential oil, this is it! Lavender is the most versatile of all essential oils. Most commonly known for its relaxing effects on the body, lavender has been highly regarded for the skin. It may be used to cleanse cuts, bruises and skin irritations
* A few drops of Lavender on pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet at bedtime to help with a restful nights sleep.
* Soothe occasional skin irritations.
*Freshen your linen, mattress, car, or the air by combining Lavender with distilled water in a spray bottle.
*Add a few drops to your washing for beautiful smelling clothes.
*When massaged into the scalp, it can improve blood circulation, promote hair growth, and prevent hair loss.
Diffuse: Add 3-4 drops in a diffuser
Topically: Apply 1-2 drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil of your choice to minimize any skin sensitivity.
Massage: Add 10-12 drops to 30mls of carrier oil
Hair Care: For scalp massage, mix 8-10 drops in 2 Tbsp of carrier oil. Work it into the scalp with your fingers. Leave it on overnight to take maximum advantage of its healing and nourishing properties. You can cover your head with a towel when you sleep and wash your hair in the morning.
